Charles Herget is the broker for Hunter Herget Real Estate. He has been licensed by the California Bureau of Real Estate since 1998. He received his broker’s license in 2008. He is a member of the Bay East Association of REALTORS® and the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Prior to going into real estate, he had a long and distinguished career as an engineer. He received a PhD degree in Engineering from UCLA. During his career as an engineer, he was honored to serve as President of his professional society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Control Systems Society.

Therese Herget has been licensed by the California Bureau of Real Estate since 1974. Therese is the office manager for Hunter Herget Real Estate. She will handle all aspects of the transactions, from listing through escrow. She was trained by and worked for Mason-McDuffie Real Estate, now Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie. She has also worked for Alameda Realty in Alameda. She was an escrow officer for North American Title for 15 years in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. She takes pride in the fact that she knows how to market a property and assist both sellers and buyers through a smooth selling and escrow process. Buying and selling a home is an emotional experience, and Therese knows how to provide the guidance that is needed and to give the peace of mind to get to a happy close of escrow.
